I'm interested in ordering online, is your website secure?
Answer:
Yes!
We use 128-bit SSL encryption for the shopping cart, so your name and address as well as the credit card number you send us is protected. (Most browsers show a small padlock in the corner of the screen to confirm you are viewing a secure site. If you double-click on that padlock, you'll see the details of our SSL certificate.)
We Care for Your Security
We make it our mission to provide you with a positive customer experience and we want you to be confident that you can order from us safely and securely. With this in mind we've secured our online payment area so that your valuable data, such as credit card details, are protected from prying eyes.
What is SSL?
Secure Sockets Layer, SSL, is the standard security technology for creating an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between our web server and your browser remains private and secure. SSL is an industry standard and is used by millions of websites in the protection of their online transactions with their customers. In order to be able to generate an SSL link (signified by the gold padlock in the information tool bar), a web server requires an SSL Certificate.
Why is SSL important?
Since the SSL protocol was released by Netscape as a security technology in 1996 we have all been educated to look for the SSL padlock before passing any critical details over the Internet. Technically, the SSL protocol provides an encrypted link between two parties, however to you the consumer, seeing the SSL padlock in your browser means much more:
-
That you have a secure (encrypted) link with this website
-
That this website is a valid and legitimate organization or an accountable legal entity
As well as ensuring that your details remain secure during a transaction, we know that you also care whether the website you are dealing with is legitimate. In order to solve the critical issue of identity assurance as well as information security on the Internet, the efforts of SSL Providers (Certification Authorities), consumer magazines and industry bodies have rightly resulted in the SSL padlock becoming synonymous with trust and integrity.
Answer:
One type of engine we sell is called a "longblock engine." This means that you get a completely assembled engine block (crankshaft, camshaft, pistons, rings, rods and bearings) with the cylinder head(s) and the timing components installed. The balance of the gasket set and oil pump and/or oil pump kit are also included. You then need to transfer your old external components such as manifolds, starter, alternator, ignition system, carburetor or fuel injection system, flywheel, etc. onto our remanufactured Engine.

Why do you need my email address & phone number?
Answer:
Please review our privacy statement for more information.
What does the "core charge" mean?
Answer:
A core is the old part you are replacing. When you buy a remanufactured part, manufacturers need the core so they can rebuild it and add it to their inventory. The core charge is like a deposit on a soda bottle, you pay it when you place the order, but it's refunded if you send back your old part. For more information about cores, please....... click here.

My card expiration date isn't listed!
Answer:
Our shopping cart offers choices of expiration dates based on the system date on your computer. If your PC thinks it's 1980, our shopping cart will show expiration dates from long ago. Please correct the date on your PC and reload the shopping cart page, or call to place a phone order.
